How Eastern Himalaya Holidays handles this for every booking.
Bookings
A booking is confirmed when we receive the agreed advance and send confirmation. Your quote lists the vehicle, dates, route and what the fare includes.
Fares and extras
Fares are as stated in your quote. Unless the quote says they are included, tolls, parking, state entry taxes, permits, and driver night charges are payable extra. Extra km or hours beyond the agreed plan are charged at the rates in the quote.
Itinerary changes
Hill travel depends on weather, landslides and road closures. Our team may adjust routes or timings for safety. Changes requested by you during the trip may change the fare.
Travellers' responsibilities
Carry valid ID and any permits required (such as ILP for Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland). Smoking, alcohol and illegal items are not allowed in the vehicle. Damage caused by passengers may be charged.
Driver hours
For safety, drivers do not drive late at night on hill roads. Daily schedules are planned with this in mind.
Liability
We take every care in arranging your trip, but are not responsible for delays or losses caused by weather, natural events, strikes, road closures or other events outside our control.
